If you’re flying in from out of town and heading to one of Orlando’s big college-football bowl games, you’re in for a weekend you’ll remember, from kickoff to post-game dinner. With major match-ups happening in one place, the city of Orlando transforms into an all-in bowl-weekend destination. But the real key to a smooth trip? Seamless transportation from the airport, to your hotel, to the stadium, without the parking headaches or rideshare surges.
That’s where Ultimate Town Car comes in: picture stepping off the plane and into a premium car, arriving at your hotel or stadium in comfort and style, ready for the weekend. In this post we’ll walk you through the games to plan for, travel logistics, how to get around, how to make the most of game day, and how to lock in your ride ahead of time.
Orlando’s Key Bowl Games for 2025
If you’re targeting a bowl-weekend in Orlando, here are the standout games you should know:
Pop‑Tarts Bowl – Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET.
Cheez‑It Citrus Bowl – Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Camping World Stadium, kickoff at 3:00 p.m. ET.
StaffDNA Cure Bowl – Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Camping World Stadium.
What this means for you as an out-of-town fan:
All three games are at the same stadium in Orlando, which makes logistics much simpler.
Knowing the dates early means you can lock in flights and hotels now before the crowd gets bigger.
Since you’re traveling in, transportation becomes one of your biggest “to-do’s” — and you’ll want to get ahead of it.
Travel & Arrival Logistics
Flight & airport tip: Fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO) for the easiest access to downtown Orlando and the stadium area.
Hotel stay & location:
Stay within a 10-20 minute drive of Camping World Stadium so you can relax and avoid long post-game exits.
Choose a hotel with easy access to major roads so your transport can drop you off and pick you up smoothly.
Luggage & timing:
Arrive a day early if you can — gives you a buffer for travel, check-in, and settles you in for the big game day.
If you land the same day as the game, book your ride from the airport ahead of time (see next section) so you’re not scrambling with rideshares or rental car lines.
Local Transportation & Why Premium Ride Service Wins
When you’re coming from out of town, your priorities are comfort, reliability and convenience. Here’s why a premium car service like Ultimate Town Car is a smart move.
No parking stress: Parking at or near the stadium can be expensive, crowded, and time-consuming. Instead, let your car pick you up at the hotel, drop you at the stadium, and wait (or be ready) for post-game pickup.
Group travel made easy: Traveling with friends or family? A town car or SUV means you ride together — no splitting up into multiple rideshare cars.
Airport → hotel → stadium chain: Book your airport to hotel ride when you land, then book your hotel to stadium ride for game day. After the game you’ll already know your ride is waiting (or scheduled) so you don’t lose time.
Avoid surge pricing: Game day and events = rideshare surges. Booking ahead with a fixed-rate service means no last-minute price hikes.
Tailored for out-of-town visitors: Your driver will know Orlando traffic patterns, best routes for events, and will account for game-day congestion so you’re not left guessing.
Game-Day Planning: Before, During & After
Before kickoff:
Arrive at the stadium at least 60–90 minutes early (especially if you want time for food/drinks or fan zones).
Coordinate with your ride service about pick-up/drop-off points — many event venues have specific passenger zones.
During the game:
Stick close to your pre-arranged transport plan. If your ride is scheduled after the game, make sure you know where the meeting point is and have driver contact info.
After the final whistle:
Your biggest bottleneck will be exit traffic and congestion. Because your car is pre-booked, you can usually avoid the major ride-share or taxi lines.
Have a post-game unwind plan: dinner downtown, drinks, or maybe a hotel return — your ride service can take you there.
Overnight & next-day travel:
Staying the night gives you flexibility instead of driving late or catching a red-eye.
If you’re flying out the next morning, book your airport transfer ahead and ensure it’s scheduled for plenty of time given post-event traffic.
Extra Activities: Make the Most of Your Weekend
You’re already in Orlando — so why not turn it into more than just a game trip?
Explore downtown Orlando dining, nightlife, or a relaxed brunch after the game.
Relax at your hotel or enjoy resort amenities, especially if you’re staying near the stadium.
If you arrive early, consider sightseeing, shopping, or visiting local attractions without getting caught in event traffic.
Use your ride service for these extras too — book a flexible schedule so your transport isn’t just “one and done”.
Booking Tips & Checklist
Here’s a handy checklist for out-of-town bowl-weekend travel:
Buy game tickets early (for Pop-Tarts, Citrus, Cure) once teams are announced.
Book your hotel early — choose a location with easy access to the stadium and airport.
Reserve your airport pickup via Ultimate Town Car when you land.
Schedule your hotel to stadium ride in advance.
Confirm your post-game pickup: know the exact location, driver name, and contact.
If returning the next day, schedule your hotel to airport ride with a buffer for traffic.
Pack smart: bring your team gear, arrive rested, and leave early enough to avoid last-minute stress.
Ready to turn your bowl-weekend into a seamless, high-comfort experience? Book your premium ride with Ultimate Town Car today. Whether you’re rolling in from a different state or just across town, we’ve got you covered from touchdown to final whistle. Orlando, Florida is one of the most visited vacation and holiday destinations in the world. It sits right in the middle of the state and enjoys year-round fair weather. People flock to the abundance of amusement parks and attractions that are kid-friendly and safe. Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando play host to tens of millions of visitors a year, but there are lots of other activities that are just as exciting. If you have the right plan, you can enjoy your Orlando vacation without breaking your budget.
Getting Around Orlando
The Orlando International Airport is your main transport hub to the area we providetransportation to Orlando airport. It’s just six miles southeast of Orlando and you can find an affordable rental car, SUV or minivan just minutes from your arrival gate. Once you get inside a theme park, you can make use of the public transportation, but you may want to save money by renting a vehicle or hiring a car service. We understand driving in an unfamiliar city you’re visiting can be confusing. This way, you can easily zip from one spot to any other of Orlando’s many fun destinations. Since so many people visit Orlando every year, there are many transportation options. Allow us to give you a great deal and show you around Orlando at ultimatetowncar.com. Take the guesswork out of getting around Orlando and rely on a trusted service that knows the city inside and out.
There are just too many attractions in the Orlando area to see everything in one trip. So, you should plan which destinations you want to visit before the vacation even starts. The further in advance you buy your tickets, the more money you save. Some theme parks even offer park hopper tickets. At the top of the list you have Islands of Adventure with so many roller coasters and super-hero themed attractions. Disney’s Magic Kingdom has six different areas of fun and entertainment. Another choice is Universal Studios with Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Express and other shows, activities, and endless food options. If you plan on saving some money, don’t exhaust yourself trying to see everything at once. Instead, focus on one major park each trip. This way you can book early and save on package deals.
Where to Stay
The accommodations in Orlando range from five-star resorts to budget inns. Some of the hotels that are inside the Disney resort can be a bit pricey, but you can find great accommodation deals on these hotels if you book in advance. Luckily, everything is centrally located. All the main attractions don’t require too much travel but they aren’t in walking distance of each other. Booking a hotel or inn just outside of the main tourist area will save you hundreds of dollars. A great budget saving strategy is to mark all of your intended destinations on a map, then look for a budget hotel that is located within driving range of those spots.
Dining on a Dime
Feeding your family while on vacation can really eat away at your holiday budget, especially if all of your meals come from restaurants inside Downtown Disney or inside any of the other theme parks. Have a plan before you start the trip. A great way to save money is to eat breakfast at a diner close to your hotel before you start the day. Load up on snacks that you can bring with you and don’t forget to bring plenty of water. Plan which restaurants you want to visit before you set out on your day so that you won’t get stuck with whatever is close by.

The Orlando International Airport is a bustle of activity with park goers, conventioneers, and those simply passing through. Whether you find yourself at MCO for just a few minutes or several hours, we here at Ultimate Town Car want your experience to be as pleasant as possible so we have compiled the following information to help you out during your visit also we provide transportation to orlando airport.
Souvenirs
The Orlando International Airport is a great place to buy souvenirs without waiting in the long lines at the parks. There are two official Disney merchandise stores onsite as well as a Universal, Sea World, and the Kennedy Space Center shop.
Recreation for Kids
Little ones can stay busy during delays and layovers at the King of Kong Arcade located in the main terminal.
Stay Connected
All public areas have free WiFi available, but there are fewer charging stations than at other major airports. What they do have is found in the gate areas. Headphones, cell phone rentals, and replacement chargers can be found at Airport Wireless.
No Gum
Even though chewing gum is a well-known remedy for ear popping during your flight, you won’t be able to pick it up in any of the Orlando Airport shops. It is part of an effort to keep the floors throughout the airport clean.
Disney’s Magical Express
Disney offers a free bus service to their resorts, but it is located on the main terminal building’s B side. You may have a bit of a walk if you’re using an airline with gates located on the A side.
Security Lines
The security areas have two entrances. The line closest to the terminal’s B side gets over whelmed with those coming off of Disney’s Magical Express. Walk on around the corner and try the line closer to the A side which is often much shorter. Keep in mind that security lines are long here. Allow yourself a half hour or more than what you estimate it will take you to pass through security.
Onsite Hotel
A Hyatt Regency is found inside of the main terminal building. Guests use these accommodations when departing early, arriving late, waiting for a cruise, or stranded by the weather. The rooms are cheaper than many area resorts for those reasons. Their phone number is 407-825-1234.
Store Hours
Airport stores have shorter business hours than the airport itself. Don’t wait until the last minute to purchase essential items. If you’re in need of going off property after store hours, let Ultimate Town Car know. We run 24 hours a day!
The Clinic Closed
There was once upon a time a Solantic walk-in urgent care center onsite. The clinic closed in 2012, but the airport still accommodates any medical emergencies with paramedics on the grounds.
Lost and Found
Unfortunately, if your luggage is lost, you must deal directly with the airline. However, f you lose an item while visiting the airport, you can call and check with the Lost and Found department at 407-825-2111.
Business Services
To assist commuters visiting the airport for business reasons, the airport has a full service post office, currency change, and Sun Trust Bank. These are found in the main terminal.
Chapel
A non-denominational chapel is found past gates 1-59 security checkpoints. This area cannot be accessed without a boarding pass.
Food
There are plenty of eateries at the airport that range from quick bites to full sit down dining experiences. For example, there is Burker King, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Firehouse Subs, Macaroni Grill and much more. Making a choice between all these options is tough!
Transportation Options
If you don’t want to rent a car, we can shuttle you around during your Orlando visit. Our drivers at Ultimate Town Car provide transportation services to Disney, theme parks like Universal and Sea World, and lots of other Central Florida areas.
